Let's Have a Field Day!

We went to the field and pond this morning and Jersey had a blast! She did extremely well retrieving and actually went into the water...no swimming yet, but almost. Right now, she would rather have Emma go in the water to fetch then steal from her when she gets back.

Hello!!

Jersey's "I got in trouble for chewing on the chair" face.

Jersey loves flowers...such a girl!!

Jersey was comfortable in the house almost immediately. It was hilarious to watch her go up and down the stairs for the first time! In the few weeks she has been home, she has learned to go to the door to go outside and how to play with the door stop...pretty funny to watch, but probably going to be a problem if she continues to play with them...we just couldn't stop her until we got a video! Thank goodness for Don't Chew Dare!!

We have also been working on stacking and gaiting in the show ring. Our first show is a fun match in August.

Jersey goes to Grandma and Grandpa's almost everyday to play with Emma and Walter (their German Shorthaired Pointers). Emma and Jersey play together until they are both worn out and have to take a nap...only to start all over when they wake up. Jersey wasted no time letting us all know she was the dominant one, which was a shocker because we thought Emma would for sure put Jersey in her place.
