We had another successful training day. Jersey is really starting to make some beautiful points and is getting better at holding steady when the bird flushes, but still has a long way to go before she is ready to be tested (which includes some much needed obedience training in the field).
So, we decided to see what she would do with a live duck. Would she search for it in the water?? Let's see...
So far, she looks good...she's quite interested and looks ready to goBUT...
She could care less about that duck! If you look closely, you can see it swimming toward the other end of the pond :)
And she decides to take a joy run through the shallow water and mud.Hey, at least you can tell she's happy!!
We'll try the duck search again another time.
